You may have heard that “Rock the River” is coming to Cloverdale August 7th. NGM and Historymaker are excited to partner with Rock the river in mobilizing, inspiring and training the youth in this region to reach their friends for Christ! I want to encourage you to consider taking advantage of all of the Rock the River events and training opportunities coming up. The next one is March 5th “Amped up” featuring Revolution Band, Panic Squad, and Phil Cann. Plan to be a part.

Haitian relief
We have all been touched by the news of the recent Earthquake in Haiti. Many Haitians, foreign workers, and tourists have lost their lives and many more are suffering with serious injuries. They are lacking food, water and shelter. A country that was already in the worst of conditions has been completely devastated by this quake. How can we partner and further help?
Please follow the Link here and instructions and ensure that you select the “Haiti Relief” from the fund designation list. From there you simply fill out your information and the amount in which you would like to donate.

On February 2nd we want to invite out a few Fraser Valley youth groups together for a night of worship and teaching. What is ahead!?
As I’ve been praying into what is ahead for 2010, I’m sensing a renewed focus on relationships – to know, love and encourage one another as we are faithful to walking out God’s call together. As we look together towards a fresh year, Caroline and Devan and I have been re-evaluating, refocusing and rediscovering the importance of placing you (our Next Gen leaders) as top priority! We have a God-breathed renewed heart to make 2010 more about people than ever before! We pray that the programs and events our district will produce this year will serve you and your young people well, and on a personal level.
I am building this prayer wall as part of this renewed effort to keep the NGM pastors and leaders of our district in thought, sight and prayer in 2010.

Yesterday was the shortest day of the year. Now the days will be getting longer and brighter, and soon it will be Spring!
